Arthropod Profile

Work alone or in pairs (2 people) to create a profile of an arthropod subphylum, class, or order. Use powerpoint to create a presentation with ten slides (categories below). Files are due on Friday 2/3/2012 and will be presented on Monday 2/6/2012. Files may be turned in on a flash drive or burned CD. You may turn in work early but not late.


Remember:
  • Your work should be your own. No copying and pasting.
  • Keep your slides short, simple, and interesting.
  • If you use images, make sure they are legally available for use. ("Terms of Use" or "Copyright")
  • Keep a list of websites used for your works cited page. 
Slides:
  1. Title page (Category and Common names)
  2. 4 animals in this category
  3. Feeding - How and what do they eat?
  4. Respiration - How do they exchange gases w/the environment? -AND- Circulation - Do they have blood? How does it move?
  5. Excretion - How do they excrete waste? What is their waste product?
  6. Response - How do they respond to stimuli? (long term? short term?)
  7. Movement - How do they move themselves around?
  8. Reproduction - How do they create offspring?
  9. 3 Interesting facts (not covered above)
  10. Works cited: Which sites did you use? not "google" or wikipedia Use http://www.easybib.com/ to create your citations.
