C block Week of 10/24

Students took the Mollusk test on Tuesday. Grades are posted on parent portal. Still remaining in our exploration of mollusks is the dissection of a clam. That dissection is scheduled for Friday October 28.

We are currently exploring the phylum Arthropoda which inludes spiders, tick, scorpions, crabs, lobsters, insects, as well as the extinct trilobite. This unit will include the dissection of a crayfish, an attempt at organizing preserved organisms, presentations, and a study guide.
